WHAT A LOAD! (you know what that load consists of!)

So it's been a while. But today I felt the need to write a little Christmas cheer on my blog.

I was just checking out a friends page on facebook, he had some photo's of some school thing he was apart of, "Save a Forest Buy a Tree". To be honest, not quite sure what it was about, but it got me thinking. What a bunch of idiots think that buying a fake Christmas tree will help save the environment. I'm just wondering how is that? you use it for 5 years or so, and get the next new one that is more extensive with lights already wired up. Man when I was a kid it was a family night, an event of epic preportions to decorate the christmas tree. Ok so how many people live in your town? I don't know about little ol' Vernon, but I do know that if every family traded in their fake tree on the same year, we would have to start a new landfill because that is a crap load of plastic, acrylic, and what else they may be made of, and I'm pretty sure good ol' wood is more biodegradable. Me I'm a traditional kinda guy, there will never be a fake tree in my house as long as I live. Like look at it this way; the Christmas trees that are being bought have been grown for that purpose. If there were no people buying real trees that's a couple hundred tree's that wouldn't have even been planted in my town, probably hundreds of thousands across Canada. So really, it's good. I went and picked out my Christmas tree a couple weeks ago with a whole bunch of family and friends, and I'm picking it up today; going to go murder me some wood, use it as decoration for four weeks, and get rid of it. What do you think of that!
